Paratest® is used to diagnose intestinal parasitic infection in companion animals such as dogs and cats. A fresh sample of stool must be collected and tested on the same day in order to detect the presence of fragile organisms that have a limited lifespan. O&P testing is performed during well visits to the veterinarian or when symptoms of infection are present.
