This patented irap™ Plus syringe contains specially treated glass spheres that encourage white blood cells to produce anti-inflammatory cytokines. The new additional features of irap™ Plus make it even more efficient and easier to use – a bigger volume syringe provides a higher serum yield, an additional port makes retrieving serum even easier and new dimensions means it fits more centrifuges.
- irap™ Plus is a syringe system that is used to produce autologous conditioned serum (ACS)
- ACS contains active quantities of autologous anti-inflammatory and regenerative cytokines
- Whole blood is taken from the horse into the irap™ Plus syringe; this is then incubated, centrifuged and the serum extracted for re-injection into the horse from which the blood was taken
- Used for joint lameness, muscle injuries, tendon and ligament injuries
