This functional protein supplement is mixed into milk replacer for calves, whole milk, or waste milk, specifically supporting normal immune function on days 2 through 15 of life. Calves are faced with many challenges early in life, Gammulin supports calves during these challenging conditions through high levels of functional proteins, vitamins, and minerals to support proper immune function. The functional proteins, Protevia, helps maintain the intestinal wall in addition with the support of vitamins and minerals.
Use during times of stress such as transportation, physical exertion, high heat or cold, and for digestive upsets. Can be fed in addition to, or alongside, other feed additives and antibiotics. If the animal is experiencing challenging conditions, feed 1 week beyond the end of the challenge. For best results fed at the rate of 1-ounce per calf, per day, divided into two milk feedings. Can be increased to 2 ounces during periods of added or prolonged challenge.
