Equioxx® Oral Paste (Firocoxib) is the first equine coxib class nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) to ease the pain and inflammation of equine osteoarthritis. 

• Demonstrated safe, well-tolerated on gastrointestinal, hepatic and renal functions when used at the recommended dose
• Fast - rapid and effective absorption
• Once daily - 24 hours of pain relief allows daily administration for up to 14 days
• May be given with or without food
• Selective - a highly selective COX-2 inhibitor, blocks prostaglandins that may be responsible for inflammation while sparing potentially beneficial prostaglandins
